Prevention of HPV-Related Cancers

On May 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (BRT), the Nuclear Medicine Center of HCFMUSP will host the event Prevention of HPV-Related Cancers, featuring two lectures by international guests.

The event will include two lectures. The first, entitled Fighting The Rise in Anal Cancer, will be delivered by Prof. Stephen Goldstone, from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. This will be followed by the lecture Prevention of HPV Driven Oropharyngeal Cancer, presented by Dr. Anna Giuliano, from the Moffitt Cancer Center. The lectures will be delivered in English.

The event will take place at the Ted Eston Auditorium, at the Nuclear Medicine Center of the Radiology Institute of the HC-FMUSP Complex, located at Rua Dr. Ovídio Pires de Campos, 872 – 1st floor. The auditorium has a capacity of 60 people.

Registration is not required, but external participants must arrive at least 15 minutes in advance for identification at the Nuclear Medicine Center entrance.

The event will also be streamed online on Zoom.
