Camila Motta Venchiarutti Moniz

She graduated in Medicine from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (2002–2007). She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo (2008–2009) and a residency in Clinical Oncology at the São Paulo State Cancer Institute (ICESP) (2010–2012). She obtained a Ph.D. in Sciences from Faculdade de Medicina da USP (2017) and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship (2023), as well as a specialization in Clinical Research at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (2018). She has been practicing as a medical oncologist specializing in gastrointestinal tumors since 2014 and has coordinated the Clinical Research Unit at the São Paulo State Cancer Institute since 2017. She serves as an adjunct faculty member at Faculdade de Medicina da USP, teaching the undergraduate course Fundamentals of Scientific Research (2024), and has been a graduate advisor in the ICESP/Faculdade de Medicina program since 2017. Since 2025, she has been the Medical Director of Clinical Development at the D’Or Institute for Research and Education (IDOR), working on strategic partnerships and leading clinical trial development focused on new therapeutic molecules. Since 2023, she has supervised graduate students in the IDOR Graduate Program, contributing to researcher training and the advancement of medical science. Her research focuses on gastrointestinal tract tumors, phase I–IV clinical trials involving therapeutic interventions, biomarkers, and real-world data.
