On September 24, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., the Rectorate of the Universidade de São Paulo (USP) will host the event An Open Conversation on Cancer (“Uma Conversa Aberta sobre Câncer”), part of the series Colloquia at the Rectorate (“Colóquios na Reitoria”).
The meeting will be conducted by C2PO Coordinator Professor Roger Chammas, Full Professor at the Department of Oncology and Radiology of the Faculdade de Medicina da USP (FMUSP). The proposal is to promote a direct dialogue with the public about the challenges and advances in tackling cancer, addressing topics that range from lifestyle habits and prevention to the paths of translational research and precision oncology.
The Colloquia at the Rectorate are free and open to the public. The activities take place at the USP Integration & Memory Space, located in the USP Rectorate.
The event will be streamed live on USP’s channel, and in-person participation is free upon registration through an online form.
