Developed by HCX FMUSP, the MBA in Health Innovation Management will be offered online in a partnership between the Instituto Butantan, Hospital das Clínicas, and Inova HC.
The program aims to effectively train professionals seeking to bridge the gap between the production of scientific knowledge and market-oriented applications. Participants will gain hands-on experience in managing various stages of health innovation, from research processes to patenting, production, and commercialization, as well as learn about the legal aspects of technology transfer.
The target audience includes researchers, entrepreneurs, executives, and managers interested in transforming scientific discoveries into impactful products and solutions for patients. It also welcomes lawyers, biomedical engineers, journalists, marketing professionals, programmers, developers, engineers, and other professionals working in health, wellness, or quality-of-life sectors with an interest in the health innovation process.
The MBA program spans 12 months and will be conducted virtually, allowing participation from anywhere in Brazil or worldwide. There will be two synchronous sessions per month on Fridays and Saturdays, along with asynchronous activities. Class recordings will be made available for asynchronous access on the virtual learning platform.
Activities will take place from March 15, 2025, to February 27, 2026. The program includes 450 hours of coursework: 360 hours of online activities divided into three cycles and an additional 90 hours dedicated to the development of a final course project. The activities will be in Portuguese.
The course is coordinated by Prof. Dr. Roger Chammas and Prof. Dr. Ana Marisa Chudzinski Tavassi, with academic coordination by Prof. Dr. Linda Omar Bernardes de Alvarenga. It is part of the HC Lider Program.
Payment can be made in up to 30 installments, with special conditions available for alumni of HCX FMUSP courses and members of partner companies. Additionally, there is a 5% discount for payments made via Pix.
