She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the Universidade de São Paulo (1996), a master’s and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the Department of Biochemistry at the Institute of Chemistry, Universidade de São Paulo (2003), and obtained the title of Associate Professor from the Faculdade de Medicina, Universidade de São Paulo (2015). She currently serves as Research Coordinator at the Center for Translational Research in Oncology of the Instituto do Câncer do Estado de São Paulo (ICESP) and as a Collaborating Professor at the Faculdade de Medicina da USP. She has experience in Biochemistry, with an emphasis on Molecular Biology, focusing primarily on the following topics: papillomavirus, molecular variants, cancer, cellular transformation, cellular immortalization, and viral transcription.
