Revista USP highlights University Research Centers in a special edition on Science in Brazil

Revista USP, in its 143rd edition, features the new Research Centers linked to the University’s administration.

Established to address urgent contemporary challenges, USP’s Research Centers operate in strategic areas driving Brazil’s scientific, social, economic, and technological development. The publication offers a comprehensive overview of each Center: Sustainable Tropical Agriculture Center (STAC); Center for Carbon Studies in Tropical Agriculture (CCARBON); Center for Sustainable Amazon Studies (CEAS); Comprehensive Center for Precision Oncology (C2PO); Center for Studies in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (CIAAM); Research Center for Greenhouse Gas Innovations (RCGI); Observatory of Brazilian Institutions Center (COI); and USP-China Center.

The article introduces the structure and objectives of these Centers, highlighting their role in producing globally impactful science. These initiatives reflect the University’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation. The Centers serve as platforms for converging the University’s existing capacity, bringing together distinguished researchers and leveraging the University’s infrastructure.
