She holds a degree in Biology – Teaching (1992) and a degree in Biology – Bachelor of Science (1993), both from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. She obtained a master’s degree in Pharmacology from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1999) and a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Universidade de São Paulo (2005). She works as a Researcher at the Center for Translational Research in Oncology (CTO/LIM24) at the Cancer Institute of the State of São Paulo (ICESP/FMUSP). She has experience in Biochemistry, with an emphasis on Molecular Biology, Genetics, and Oncology, focusing mainly on the following topics: identification of germline and somatic alterations, DNA sequencing, gene markers for differentiation, proliferation, and prognosis of squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck, prostate, pancreas, and breast.
