The 15th Graduate Oncology Symposium will take place on November 28-29, 2024, at the Auditorium of the Instituto do Câncer do Estado de São Paulo (ICESP).
The event is organized annually by Master’s and PhD students in Oncology from the Faculdade de Medicina da USP (FMUSP), featuring oral presentations and poster sessions by the students themselves.
The opening lecture on the first day will be given by Professor Rodrigo do Tocantis Calado, Professor of Hematology at the Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto (FMRP-USP), and on the second day, Dr. Greyce Lousana, founder of the Brazilian Society of Clinical Research Professionals (SBPPC), will give the keynote lecture.
According to the Organizing Committee, the event’s goals include disseminating and collectively building knowledge, raising awareness, encouraging students and faculty, and providing a forum for students to present their research work.
This is also an opportunity for students interested in learning more about the Graduate Program in Oncology before applying for Master’s and PhD opportunities.
The full program is already available on the official website.
