Giuliano Cesar Clososki

He holds a bachelor’s and teaching degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Paraná (1998), a master’s degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Paraná (2001), and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of São Paulo (2005). He completed a doctoral internship at the University of California, Santa Barbara (2003-2004), as well as postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Campinas (2005) in Biocatalysis and at Ludwig Maximilians Universität (Munich, Germany) in Organometallics (2006-2008). He is currently an Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry in the Department of Biomolecular Sciences at the Faculdade de Ciências Farmacêuticas de Ribeirão Preto – USP. He has experience in Chemistry, with an emphasis on Organic Synthesis, focusing on the development of new synthetic methods for the preparation of bioactive substances, the development and application of new organometallic reagents, and the synthesis of drugs and pharmaceutical intermediates.
