She came to Brazil after receiving a Fulbright scholarship to conduct research at Universidade de São Paulo, and she is currently developing her research at the CTO of ICESP.

The Professor works on the discovery of new cancer biomarkers and develops AI software for genomic data scanning to predict the best approach for cancer screening, diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment.

One of the Professor’s AI research projects (A Predictive 7-Gene Assay and Prognostic Protein Biomarkers for Non-small Cell Lung Cancer) resulted in software capable of predicting the chances of progression and metastasis in lung cancer by analyzing 7 genes.

Recently, the Professor gave an interview to C2PO.
