Cristina Kurachi

She is currently an Associate Professor at Universidade de São Paulo and a CNPq PQ2 researcher. She holds a degree in Dentistry from Universidade de São Paulo (1996), a Master’s in Materials Science and Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo (2000), and a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo (2005). She has experience in the field of Biophotonics, with an emphasis on the interaction of light with biological systems, optical diagnostics, and photodynamic therapy applied to cancer and infected tissues.
