Multi-Modal Machine Learning in Biomedicine course reaches its second edition

Professor Nancy Lan Guo, from Binghamton University, State University of New York (SUNY), in partnership with C2PO, will offer the second edition of the Multi-Modal Machine Learning in Biomedicine course for undergraduate and graduate students.

The course is open to students from different fields, but basic knowledge of machine learning is recommended. All classes will be taught in English and streamed online via the Zoom platform. Brazilian students will be accompanied by Professor Fabio Albuquerque Marchi.

Course registrations will close at noon on January 19, 2026. The course begins on January 20, 2026, and will run for 14 weeks, ending on April 30, 2026. Classes will take place twice a week, always on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Due to the transition to daylight saving time in New York during the semester, the class schedule will change for students following from Brazil, in the Brasília time zone (BRT). From January 20 to March 5, 2026, classes will run from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (BRT). Starting March 10, 2026, with the beginning of daylight saving time in the United States, classes will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (BRT).
